welcome to my humble corner of the internet

a few reflections on who I am and how I think about the world...

believer in human potential
I believe people are generally more capable than society gives them credit for—and we all lose when potential goes unfulfilled. A primary source of purpose in my life is helping people grow. In this conversation, I share more about my philosophy on human potential and how it shows up in my work.

technologist
My work lives at the intersection of technology and talent. I spent 8 years at Tesla, where I built a company-wide leadership rotational program, led the online sales organization, and managed the North America used car operation and P&L. Having seen firsthand the growing gap between US labor supply and demand, I'm now exploring how technology can help people learn new skills, find purposeful work, and feel connected to their communities. If the labor market mismatch also keeps you up at night, send me a note—ro@rosalienathans.com.

nurturer of creative juices
I am an avid consumer and creator of art. It's a powerful form of self-expression, a celebration of human progress, and a core part of my way of being. I love to dance, play both classical and jazz violin, and find great joy in the open-endedness of improvisation. These days, I am learning my way around a 1980s Pentax K1000 camera.

outdoors enthusiast
Adventuring in the wilderness makes me feel deeply alive, strengthens my connection with the collective human experience, and puts this whole d*mn thing in perspective. Sit under thousand-year-old tree for a while and tell me you don't feel it.
